Team Requirements
Heart of the Team
When you step onto the platform and into ministry, you are viewed as a person of leadership by the congregation. This is why we ensure that everyone stepping into this role is completely equipped.
As a member of the CHR Worship Team, we must stay true to the following requirements:
● Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
● Be walking out a lifestyle consistent with a believer
● Have a commitment to growing yourself and others in the knowledge of Christ
Colossians 1:28 – “We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.”
● Attended “Welcome to Church Night”
● A member of CHR
● Completed our Foundations Class (Song leaders)
● Be at least 18 years old
● Have a heart for connection within CHR:
Commit to Connect Groups, attend Men’/Women’s events, etc.
● Be in agreement with the following:
Abstaining from public intoxication
● Be able to memorize lyrics and music, lead-sheets and music stands are not allowed.
● Be able to play with a Click track.

Proverbs 10:17 – “Whoever heeds discipline shows the way of life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.”
● Have the desire to grow and improve upon the talent in which God gave you. Commit to practice outside of run-throughs.

Romans 12:11 – “Never be lazy, but work hard and serve The Lord enthusiastically.”
● Be committed to resolving conflicts in a Biblical manner. Communicate concerns to your leader in a loving manner, without slander or gossip.
James 4:11 – “Do not speak against one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or a sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it.”
