Through inspirational leadership a core pillar of the CHR strategy, services, will create an environment that is welcoming and instrumental in leading people into connection and full devotion to God

General Guidelines
- Lead by example:
- Maintain a strong presence in church
- Attend a minimum of three (3) Sundays per month
- Trust God with your money by tithing
- Maintain presence in Connect Groups / Lead Connect Groups
- Attend weekly Staff Meetings so that, as a leader, you can contribute to the direction of CHR and provide information to your team as needed
- Attend weekday Prayer/Worship events
- Identify members who could be future leaders and work with your Campus Pastor to begin training them. This helps us be ready as God continues to grow our church and our team
- Provide feedback on opportunities where we can strive to provide better service to our team or our guests
- Maintain ministry budget and be accountable for all expenditures
Ministry Guidelines
- Provide training and direction to all coordinators that report directly to the Service Director. Ensure training is relevant and up to date
- Establish/Maintain close authentic relationships will all team coordinators and directors
- Host team hangouts with all coordinators
- Encourage coordinators to host team hangouts
- Establish/Maintain one on one meetings with the team coordinators reporting to the Service Director
- Provide constructive feedback to team coordinators to help them grow spiritually and professionally
- Provide constructive feedback and methods to help team coordinators successfully build their teams
- Establish objective goals for team coordinators to foster growth and excitement
- Review any new and potential Dream Team candidates ensuring that they have been match up appropriately with the correct teams and that team coordinators are following up properly and within a timely manner
- Push the Mission, Vision, and Strategy of CHR and maintain the culture and DNA of the team coordinators
- Maintain close communications with the Campus Pastor to understand any and all organizational changes
- Effectively communicate updates and changes to all team coordinators
- Establish, update, and execute processes and procedures that contribute to the success of CHR Services
- Ensure that all teams that provide scheduling in Planning Center are maintaining the CHR Value of excellence by scheduling all team members at a minimum of three weeks out. This includes ensuring that there are no unconfirmed (yellow) positions within the teams
- Ensure that the Service run sheet is completed at a minimum of three weeks out, understanding that there may be minor adjustments and/or edits within this time period
- Plan any and all special services well in advance working and collaborating with all teams and directors to ensure that roles, responsibilities, and timelines are effectively captured and communicated. These special services include, but are not limited to: Easter, Christmas, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Fourth of July, and Baptisms
- Ensure all team coordinators job descriptions are up to date an accurate. Deliver job descriptions once annually or as changes are made
- Allow the team coordinators to lead their teams. Provide any feedback from a service or event directly to them and allow them to offer praise and correction. This maintains and establishes the lines of leadership and empowers leaders in the eyes of their team members and the eyes of themselves
- Delegate responsibilities to team coordinators, overseeing tasks for excellence but not doing the tasks
- Ensure that all team coordinators are providing training to each member of their teams
- Fill the three tanks of team coordinators: Significance, Contribution, and Connection
- Working with the Campus Pastor, fill any open team coordinator positions. This will involve careful consideration, prayer, and matching of skills. Advertise any open positions and encourage existing Dream Team members to explore open opportunities to take their next step
- Encourage a "next person up" mentality within all of the Dream Teams. Coordinators should be identifying who can fill their roles. This fosters growth and opportunity for all Dream Team members. Leaders raise up other leaders
- Working with the Campus Pastor, identify areas interns can be plugged into to help them learn and grow skillsets they can replicate upon completion of the internship
Prerequisites
- Sign membership covenant form
- Have attended CHR for at least six (6) months
- Be able to serve for at least (one) 1 year once in position
- Completed or plan to complete Foundations within one (1) year of taking the position
- Commits to a life of sobriety
