The Win

Be a part of the personal and spiritual growth of people through being the hands and feet of Jesus. You will lead people into connection and full devotion to God by creating an atmosphere where kids and parents can experience God, respond to the Holy Spirit and connect with others through fun activities and games, devotions, meals and other events.

General Guidelines

  • Lead by example
  • Commit to consistent attendance to provide logistical and spiritual oversight to your team members
  • Place a high priority on being present weekly in the life of the church unless time off requests have been submitted
  • Pray for your team and foster spiritual growth as you lead.
  • Trust God with your money by tithing
  • Maintain presence in Connect Groups / Lead Connect Groups
  • Attend Staff Meetings on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month so that as a leader you can contribute to the direction of CHR and provide information to your team as needed
  • Attend Morning Prayer 8:30am Sundays 
  • Arrive on time to attend dream team rally 9:30am
  • Attend weekday Prayer/Worship events
  • Identify members who could be future leaders and work with your Dream Team Director to begin training them. This helps us be ready as God continues to grow our church and our team
  • Provide feedback on opportunities where we can strive to provide better service to our team or our guests
  • Maintain ministry budget and be accountable for all expenditures

Ministry Guidelines

  • Lead monthly Community Day, Summer and Holiday events, weekly after school program and Serve the City
  • Dream of missions opportunities beyond Community Day and Holiday events
  • In keeping with the vision of our church being “...racially, generationally, economically and denominationally diverse”, build a strong Dream Team for community days by adding new people to the team and encouraging new members; maintain relationships outside of serving
  • Lead team meetings for planning and training
  • Plan and execute events; turn in event and graphics request forms 12 weeks prior to event
  • Purchase supplies needed for events with either a church check or personally and turn in receipts the Sunday following the purchase, labeled with your name and each receipt labeled for the event. Reimbursements will be mailed
  • Advertise events through the media coordinator a minimum of 30 days prior to the date of the event
  • Keep active on the CHR Dream Team Facebook page active, post at least twice a week
  • Record a video message (1-3 minutes) to your ministry/ Facebook page to encourage the team through the week no less than twice a month

Prerequisites

  • Sign membership covenant form
  • Have attended CHR for at least six (6) months
  • Be able to serve for at least (one) 1 year once in position
  • Completed or plan to complete Foundations within one (1) year of taking the position
  • Honor God in your lifestyle, be mindful of your example particularly as it relates to alcohol consumption knowing that it may be a stumbling block to some, do not promote alcohol use on social media posts.
