The Win

Be an integral part of real change in the lives of men by creating a safe and loving atmosphere for men to experience God, respond to the Holy Spirit and connect with other men.  Men will learn to live, love, and lead in there personal and professional lives.

General Guidelines

  • Lead by example:
    • Maintain a strong presence in church
    • Attend a minimum of three (3) Sundays per month
    • Trust God with your money by tithing
  • Maintain presence in Connect Groups / Lead Connect Groups
  • Attend weekly Staff Meetings so that, as a leader, you can contribute to the direction of CHR and provide information to your team as needed
  • Attend weekday Prayer/Worship events
  • Identify members who could be future leaders and work with your Campus Pastor and Service Director to begin training them. This helps us be ready as God continues to grow our church and our team
  • Provide feedback on opportunities where we can strive to provide better service to our team or our guests
  • Maintain ministry budget and be accountable for all expenditures

Ministry Guidelines

  • Hold quarterly men’s events to promote bonding and encourage new men to attend; maintain authentic relationships outside of serving
  • Add potential new team members through conversation and connections keeping in mind the vision of our church being “...racially, generationally, economically, and denominationally diverse”
  • Plan and execute events; turn in event and graphics requests forms 12 weeks prior to event
  • Advertise events through the media coordinator a minimum of 30 days prior to the date of the event 
  • Keep Facebook page active, post at least twice a week
  • Administer CHR Men Social Media
  • Mentor and disciple men
  • Work in concert with other ministry leads to see where CHR Men can support the needs of ministries.
  • Purchase supplies needed for events with either a church check or personally and turn in receipts the Sunday following the purchase, labeled with your name and each receipt labeled for the event. Reimbursements will be mailed.
  • Maintain and be accountable for the CHR Men’s Ministry monthly budget
  • Be available for the needs of the CHR Community

Prerequisites

  • Sign membership covenant form
  • Have attended CHR for at least six (6) months
  • Be able to serve for at least (one) 1 year once in position
  • Completed or plan to complete Foundations within one (1) year of taking the position
  • Commits to a life of sobriety
