General Guidelines

  • Lead by example
  • Commit to consistent attendance to provide logistical and spiritual oversight to your team members
  • Place a high priority on being present weekly in the life of the church unless time off requests have been submitted
  • Pray for your team and foster spiritual growth as you lead.
  • Trust God with your money by tithing
  • Maintain presence in Connect Groups / Lead Connect Groups
  • Attend Leadership Staff meetings 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month so that as a leader you can contribute to the direction of CHR and provide information to your team as needed
  • Attend Morning Prayer 8:30am Sundays
  • Arrive on time to attend dream team rally 9:30am
  • Attend weekday Prayer/Worship events
  • Identify members who could be future leaders and work with your Dream Team Director to begin training them. This helps us be ready as God continues to grow our church and our team
  • Provide feedback on opportunities where we can strive to provide better service to our team or our guests
  • Maintain ministry budget and be accountable for all expenditures

Ministry Guidelines

  • Hold team-building hangouts quarterly to promote bonding and encourage new team members
  • Confer with coordinators/directors and confirm locations for upcoming events (following CHR’s timeline) are secured
  • Assist leaders with creative elements for events as requested.  This includes, but not limited to:
    • Offering ministry leaders and coordinators advice and ideas or a resource(s) to help create and implement
    • Involvement of the creative team will be determined by the Creative Team coordinator based on the anticipated level of effort after speaking with the event requestor
  • Design, coordinate, and implement creative elements for all specialty church events:
    • Easter
    • Mother’s Day
    • Father’s Day
    • Veteran’s Day
    • Christmas Service
    • Dream Team Parties
  • Maintain excellence in all design aspects

Prerequisites

  • Sign membership covenant form
  • Have attended CHR for at least six (6) months
  • Be able to serve for at least (one) 1 year once in position
  • Completed or plan to complete Foundations within one (1) year of taking the position
  • Commits to a life of sobriety
