Lead the local campus into connection and full devotion to God through the Worship Ministry

Dream Team Director with direct input from Worship Director
General Guidelines
- Lead by example
- Commit to consistent attendance to provide logistical and spiritual oversight to your team members
- Place a high priority on being present weekly in the life of the church unless time off requests have been submitted
- Pray for your team and foster spiritual growth as you lead.
- Trust God with your money by tithing
- Maintain presence in Connect Groups / Lead Connect Groups
- Attend one Staff Meetings per month or as requested by the Worship Director or Dream Team Director
- Identify members who could be future leaders and work with your Dream Team Director and Worship Director to begin training them. This helps us be ready as God continues to grow our church and our team
- Discuss potential team members with your Worship Director and your Dream Team Director
- Provide feedback on opportunities where we can strive to provide better service to our team or our guests
- Provide feedback to your team members in a constructive and healthy manner while highlighting an area they are already exceling in
- Escalate any specific campus Worship Team member corrections in a timely manner to the Worship Director and Dream Team Director.
Ministry Guidelines
- CAMPUS TEAM
- Remain in regular contact/communication with pastors, directors and coordinators, and update teams as necessary
- Lead the campus Worship Team run throughs and Sunday morning sound checks, ensuring the team is adhering to the value of excellence
- Teach the team what Worship means and why we are to do it
- Work with prospective worship team members, including youth, to build up the next generation of worship leaders
- Build the campus worship team by adding worship leaders and musicians
- Meet with your campus team to encourage them towards growth and opportunity
- Work with the campus Production Team to ensure any specific updates to Worship slides are captured
- Work with team members to ensure they understand how to set their wireless monitors
- Work with team members to show them how to use or respond:
- PCO app
- M32-Qmix app
- Wireless monitor packs (ensuring they have in-ears)
- PCO emails.
- If you play an instrument other than drums, you will be the Musical Director (MD) until you:
- raise up someone on your team to be your MD
- You should coordinate with your Worship Director when choosing and training this person.
- LEADERSHIP
- Meet at minimum quarterly with Campus Pastor
- Receive updates and feedback from the Worship Director
- Attend team-building hangouts bi-annually to promote bonding and encourage new team members. Host these in coordination with the Worship Director
- PLANNING CENTER
- Add new team members to PCO; ensure team members understand the scheduling process and how to use PCO
- Schedule team members using the Planning Center Online (PCO) tool a minimum of three (3) weeks out
- Ensure:
- make sure that your team is greened up for two consecutive weeks and that requests are sent for the third week following up with team members regarding any non-greens
- Follow up (via text/phone call/email) occurs with those team members that remain unconfirmed (or yellow)
- New team members are “oriented” to the team by seasoned members (new team members should not be scheduled as a regular member until they have been properly trained)
- Communicate to the Worship Director who is scheduled when you send your requests out so that the Worship Director can choose songs based on the vocalists you have scheduled
- Add prospective songs/ideas to the Training Resources "song" in the PCO Song Library
- Add the keys of the songs the Leading Vocalists at your Campus can sing to the "Song Leader Key Spreadsheet" developed by the Worship Director
- PLAYBACK
- Load songs, provided by the Worship Director, into the playback application
- Ensure weekly songs are linked/transitioned properly within the application
- Ensure instruments are added and removed from the sequence as needed
- Ensure the MAP of the song has any prerequisites in it or deleted that are notated on the spreadsheet given to you by the Worship Director
- Ensure the IPAD is charged
Prerequisites
- Sign membership covenant form
- Have attended CHR for at least six (6) months
- Be able to serve for at least (one) 1 year once in position
- Completed or plan to complete Foundations within one (1) year of taking the position
- Commits to a life of sobriety
