General Guidelines

  • Lead by example: maintain a strong presence in church, attending a minimum of three (3) Sundays per  month
  • Trust God with your money by tithing
  • Maintain presence in Connect Groups / Lead Connect Groups.
  • Attend weekly Staff Meetings on Tuesdays if available so that, as a leader, you can contribute to the  direction of CHR and provide information to your team as needed
  • Attend weekday Prayer/Worship events
  • Remain in regular contact/communication with Set Crew Lead to update teams as necessary
  • Work with Set Crew Lead to coordinate team-building hangouts quarterly to promote bonding and  encourage new team members
  • Add new team members to PCO; ensure team members understand the scheduling process and how to  use PCO
  • Schedule team members using the Planning Center Online (PCO) tool a minimum of three (3) weeks out Ensure:
    • All scheduled PCO requests are confirmed (or green) a minimum of three (3) weeks prior  to serving; following up with team members regarding any non-greens
    • Team coordinators are “orienting” their new team members
    • Follow up (via text/phone call/email) occurs with those team members that remain  unconfirmed (or yellow)
    • New team members are “oriented” to the team by seasoned members (new team  members should not be scheduled as a regular member until they have been properly  trained)
  • Identify members who could be future leaders and work with your Campus Pastor and Dream Team Coordinator to begin training them. This helps us be ready as God continues to grow our church and our  team.
  • Follow up with Dream Team Members who have missed an opportunity to serve.
  • Provide feedback on opportunities where we can strive to provide better service to our team or our  guests.
  • Build the team by adding members to the following roles:
    • Setup
    • Beverage
    • Signs
    • Trailers

Service Guidelines

  • Coordinators should wear the provided ministry lanyard at all times. Part of creating a comfortable
environment is being easily recognizable to our guests.
  • Connect with your team after they have checked in. Confirm Planning Center assignments for each person
and communicate any details specific to the weekend.
  • Be familiar with the building and special events at church. Check out the Website, and Social Media
before the service for any information you may need.
  • Train new team members in your area. Clearly communicate expectations and specifics of the role.
  • Follow these steps when you’re training a new team member:
    • I do it. You watch. • You do it. I watch.
    • We do it together. • You do it.
  • Maintain contact with your team via email, phone call, texts, handwritten notes, etc. Building
relationships helps each member feel needed and known.
