Building Lock-Up Procedures

Securing the facility is an important thing to remember for several reasons. First, we want to be sure that the environment is safe from unexpected intruders. Second, we want to ensure that we are protecting the things God has blessed us with from theft or vandalism. As such, we commit to doing our part to ensure the safety and well-being of the people and assets of CHR.
If you are the last person in the building, please ensure the following steps are followed before leaving the campus.
  1. Turn off lights in all areas.
    • Worship Center
    • All Areas Behind The Stage
    • Main Lobby
    • Main Hall
    • Hospitality Room
    • Nursing Mothers
    • Legacy Room and Closets
    • Men's Bathroom
    • Women's Bathroom
    • Kid's Check-In Area 
    • Downstairs Kid's Classrooms/Bathroom
    • Upstairs Classrooms
    • Upstairs Office (if you have access)
    • Stairwells
    • Left/Right, Front Entrance Halls
  2. Ensure there is no running water in the bathrooms.
  3. Ensure all exterior doors are locked.
    • EXTRA NOTE: Walk around the exterior and pull on each door.
  4. Text Pastor Joel upon leaving the building, letting him know that the building is locked up.
